Downtown Las Vegas is a grittier, older, and more character-filled part of the city that in many ways is more interesting than the glitzier “Strip”. This evening, The Container Park — an entertainment venue made up of converted shipping containers — hosted a small car show to kick off SEMA. Night time adds an interesting twist to car shows, making them more festive and the lighting can often be pretty cool!
I showed up a bit late, which worked in my favor as the crowd had thinned out by the time I arrived. I hope this show returns next year… it would be great to see this grow into a larger “evening concours”! (If they have room for a Delorean, I’d be happy to bring mine by!)
