BMW’s first M3 (based on its E30 platform) was made from 1986 to 1991. Though it shared its basic body with its less sporty siblings, it incorporated unique body panels to aid aerodynamics, and to allow for a wider track and larger wheels. This most iconic of M cars is widely regarded as one of the best driving cars of all time.
